In my opinion, the characteristic of a good teachers are patience and listening to students.
For example, my English teacher is a good teacher that she was very patient and kept correcting my incorrect pronunciation again and again, and she also listened to my ideas that help me to improve my English writing. My physics teacher is also a good teacher, he patiently guided me to find the answers of physics issues , listened to my explanations and pointed out my logical errors.
They are great teachers who changed my life, so I believe that patience and listening to students are the characteristic of a good teachers.
